Randy Maggard is a businessman and community leader with principled ideals. He has served as vice president of Sonny’s Discount Appliances for 31 years. Throughout his career Randy has put our community first and earned our trust.
Born and raised in Pasco County, Randy attended Zephyrhills High School and has an Associate of Arts from Pasco-Hernando Community College. He is committed to our community and has served on the following community boards:

Randy lives in Dade City and has been married to Colleen for 35 years. They have three children. Outside of work and serving his community Randy enjoys hunting, fishing, ranching and spending time with his family.

Affordability
Floridians are suffering from skyrocketing insurance rates, volatile gas prices, rising healthcare costs, and out of control housing prices. In Tallahassee, Randy passed major insurance reform that eliminated frivolous lawsuits that raise rates. Randy also passed sweeping property tax reform with Governor DeSantis to bring relief to Pasco families, retirees, and residents.

Illegal Immigration
Randy stood with President Trump and Governor DeSantis to pass sweeping immigration reform. Randy helped ban sanctuary cities, fully-fund and increase cooperation between ICE/DHS and Florida’s law enforcement and build the Alligator Alcatraz detainment facility. He will keep illegals off our streets and stand by the rule of law!

Woke Ideologies in Florida
Randy believes in the common-sense conservative principles that Floridians want! As our State Representative, Randy banned DEI/Woke ideologies in our schools, men participating in women’s sports and gender affirming surgeries on minors. Randy’s principles are rock solid, and he will always fight to protect Florida from the radical left!

Randy Maggard backs the blue and strongly supports law-enforcement, the rule of law, and increased penalties on individuals who harm law-enforcement officers. Randy is endorsed by Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco and the Florida Fraternal Order of Police. They know he will not let them down!
